The Art of Sparsha
New Legacy Program with Chinnamasta
The Art of Sparsha
This is a one-time opportunity to join Chinnamasta for this new legacy program teaching.
This teaching is only open to femmes.
It is a merging of Tantra Sādhanā through the eyes of Chinnamasta Devi
and
Āyurvedic Sacred Touch as transmitted to her by her teacher Kiran Vyas
Kiran, originally from Gujarat, received darshan from Shri Aurobindo and La Mère at the ashram in Pondicherry since childhood. After persistent requests to move permanently into the ashram, his parents finally agreed, when he was fourteen years old. At the ashram, Kiran developed his personal sādhanā and received academic education and wisdom guidance, which became the foundation for his life work.
I met Kiran upon invitation of Vaidya Baba Rathod, when I was thirty five years old. I experienced an immediate sense of coming home as I arrived at the premises of Tapovan in Normandy for my first Āyurveda conference.
When Kiran sat down with me on a bench, he looked far away and said:
"We will work together for a long time."
He invited me to come and spend time with him and, although I had no intention of studying there, I instantly felt and expressed a full yes. I stayed for eight years, moving in between Amsterdam and Sassetot-le-Mauconduit, receiving teachings, offering guidance to clients and training other students. It was a profound time of growth in joyful company of the sangha.
What I learned from Kiran was unique. He guided me mostly in silence, teaching me to listen inwardly and to approach each touch with deep reverence to Spirit. I learned specific encoded and patterned rituals that best are described as puja to the sacred body. The transmission of this sacred art is subtle. It is not coming from books and neither from academic study.
It is a river of Shakti Maa.
Beyond this eight year transmission, something else happened to me which changed everything in my life.
As I was committed to my spiritual path, I witnessed how all came alive through my own Tantrik sādhanā. My practice became an embodiment of the dance between Parvati and Shiva and that Shakti started to reveal itself spontaneously and guide my heart and hands.
I noticed that I was touching Essence,
and in that moment,
I merged with Spirit and the one receiving sparsha.
Something broke open, beyond doing and description.
It was deeply humbling and many more moments of crystal clear immeasurable lightness of shared being followed.
What is The Art of Sparsha?
Just like yantras are sacred art geometry patterns reflecting a specific Shakti,
Likewise our body is considered a yantra,
a Divine body enlivened with creative energy.
This tremor pulses and ripples creative waves in the world.
The patterns and sequences of touch are like rivers guiding you from the outside parameter of the body yantra to the bindu, the point of merging. When this Art of Sparsha is offered from an attitude of deep reverence and compassion, the subtle body layers remember their original state of being.
In Āyurveda we call this the innate heart intelligence vibrating in every cell of the body.
An intelligence that is luminous and in a state of wonder.
The art of sacred touch should be offered from a place of grounding in a Tantra and Āyurveda Sādhanā. It is this inner practice of devotion, this remembrance of Maa, this Shakti, which precedes and guides you in the Art of Sparsha.
TEACHING DETAILS
The teaching itself should be considered a sādhanā. The more you connect with it consistently, the more the well will deepen and reveal gifts, just as is described in Chapter III of Patañjali Yoga Sūtras, Vibhūti Pada.
The first part of the teaching is offered self-paced online. This first part includes eighteen video teachings, a manual and seven hands-on home remedies videos. It is crucial that all participants prepare with the Art of Āyurveda Foundation, even if you have previously already studied Āyurveda elsewhere. All these teachings and teachers are honored. Yet to connect to the Shakti of Chinnamasta, all should sit close and consider that starting with this first part is the actual opening of a portal. Your reverence and commitment to study and a daily sādhanā including yoga, āyurveda and tantra is preparing the soil for the gifts of The Art of Sparsha.
